Description

Forest Owl, an original bird painting in oils, is part of the bird artwork featured in my Wildlife Art collection. We have many owls round where we live including barn owls, tawny owls and little owls. The barn owl is known for hunting at night as in my painting Ghost of the night, but often seen in the day, especially if they have young to feed.  The first version of Ghost of the Night was exhibited at the Global BirdFair and turned many heads and sold. We hear them regularly in the autumn and winter months and our border collie often returns their call by howling!

ORIGINAL PAINTINGS in oils and mixed media are finished with a double layer of satin varnish for protection and can be lightly wiped if needed. Original paintings should be hung away from direct sunlight.. Copy right on original paintings, with the exception of commissions, is retained by the artist.
